The Oklahoma City Thunder battled to a 94-86 over the Heat in Miami on Tuesday, January 22, and finished the night with a winning record for the first time all season.
The Thunder’s third straight win moves the team to 21-20 on the year and three games out of the western conference’s eighth and final playoff spot.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the way for OKC with 19 points each.
Durant did have a tough night shooting from behind the arc, going 0-8, but finished with eight rebounds and eight assists.
KD took a hard fall on a dunk in the fourth quarter; he called the injury a “stinger” after the game and said that it shouldn’t be an issue going forward.
Westbrook pulled down eight rebounds and was four assists shy of a triple-double.
Reggie Jackson came off the bench to score 16 points and hit two of the Thunder’s six made three-pointers.
