OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews are on scene of a four grass fires near Tinker Air Force Base.
All four fires are within a few miles of each other and authorities are saying that the fires look like they were intentionally set.
There are currently two fires on Post Road, one on Stanley Draper, and one on S.E. 59th and Douglas Avenue.
Authorities have blocked off Post road while they work on getting the fires put out.
There are a lot of cedar trees in the area, which could cause a problem for firefighters.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department asked for aerial support from the National Guard, but unfortunately they did not have crews in place for aerial support today.
Fire departments from OKC, Tinker, Little Axe, Midwest City, and Del City are all on the scene working to get these fires put out.
Oklahoma City is currently under a red flag warning and fire danger will be extremely high today as high winds combine with low relative humidity values.
