Hunter McEachern is from Enid, Oklahoma and became a member of the KFOR team in August 2020 as a digital multimedia journalist and producer.

Prior to joining News4, Hunter worked at KSWO in Lawton, where she was a multimedia journalist and fill-in weekend anchor and producer. During her time in SWOK, Hunter covered protests on Fort Sill regarding the housing of migrant children, the Joker movie shooting threat that was leaked on social media and a series of coverage about the Geronimo tornado that went undetected on radar that destroyed a family’s home.

Hunter was the sole media winner at the 34th Governor’s Disability Employment Awards of Excellence in 2019. She was nominated for the award by the CEO of Think Ability Inc. for her stories highlighting their business and successes through employment of people with disabilities. These awards are given each year to outstanding employees with disabilities, to businesses that hire persons with disabilities and to members of the media or media organizations that publicize these work programs.

Hunter is excited to continue her career in her home state at the station she grew up watching. If you have a story idea for Hunter, send her an email at Hunter.McEachern@KFOR.com
