FERGUSON, Mo. – Police officers and National Guardsmen in St. Louis County are hoping for calm after days of unrest.

On Monday, a grand jury in Missouri decided not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

Earlier this year, Brown was shot to death following an encounter with Wilson.

The death sparked outrage in the community, which resulted in riots and looting.

Once the grand jury’s decision was announced, rioters and protesters flocked to the streets.

Several businesses have been damaged or destroyed and many protesters have been arrested.

Two Oklahomans are facing charges for their roles in the Ferguson protests.

Authorities from the St. Louis County Police Department say two people from Oklahoma were arrested for unlawful assembly and resisting arrest.
